Within the EFFACEMENTS collection, this vertical narrative object stands as an anthropomorphic figure in suspense. The upper part of the work, resembling a head, is encased in a cluster of white threads, revealing at its heart a shard of red fabric impregnated with acrylic.
In the lower section, clay forms evoking legs are held by a red ribbon. Between the tension of the binding and the fragility of the mineral, this miniature sculpture—half-relic, half-talisman—explores muteness. The title, Les fleurs lui accordent du temps, suggests a secret breath at the heart of confinement, where the fault line becomes a space of possibility.
