Manger des roses.
This work from the Fragments series is a visual stanza that unites fragility and strength. Manger des roses (Eating Roses) means accepting the thorn. Between paper and textile, this fragment explores the desire to hold onto what escapes us. Between pink and black—the deformed and wobbling appearance of the fabric and the structure of a black box—there is a condition. It is confinement.
