Signed by Quebec artist Marie France Cournoyer, the FRAGMENTS series unfolds as a visual script a sequence of silent stanzas where every millimetre carries the weight of an emotion. Rooted in the contemporary art landscape of Quebec, this collection offers horizontal, filiform works conceived as fictional messages or excerpts from private journals.
Here, vulnerability is a structure. A drawing of a withered flower, a stroke of red thread, or a confession such as "I don’t know" become landmarks in an open narrative. Between the visible and the invisible, each fragment is a punctuation mark a discreet impact that invites a personal and profound reading of our own traces.
